A Day in San Francisco
PROPER HOTEL
(1100 Market Street)
Where to stay? At San Francisco's version of Flatiron Building. It is located in the heart of Mid-Market, San Francisco Proper is a fresh take on the quintessential urban hotel experience; a reimagining of the past, present, and future of the city through the integrated lens of timeless design, intuitive service, and attention to detail.
SIGHTGLASS COFFEE
(270 7th street)
San Francisco has the best places for coffee in the country and Sightglass is one of them. It was opened in 2011 by brothers, Justin and Jerad Morrison. Their 7,000 square feet, two story flagship store in the SOMA district also serves as their headquarters and roaster. It's a great and spacious space to chill, work and enjoy some great coffee but also a delicious pastry.
EVERLANE
2170 Folsom Street
Everlane is a brand you need to support. Their pieces like Grade- A cashmere sweaters, Italian shoes and denim are designed to last. The company takes pride in being "radically transparent," which means they disclose the true costs behind all of their products—from production costs to transportation—then offer them to you, minus the traditional retail markup. Everlane also partners with the best, ethical factories all over the world.
VILLON
1100 Market Street
Pronounced as “villain.” , this trendy new restaurant is located inside the Proper Hotel. Just like the hotel this restaurant/lounge has great interiors. They showcase signature contemporary American cuisine with a twist that draws inspiration from San Francisco's culture. When you visit you must order the “everything Hawaiian bread,” you can thank me later!
PALACE OF FINE ARTS
3301 Lyon Street
This is an absolute must see for anyone who's visiting San Francisco. It's a historic landmark that reminds you of the past.
