From the Editor's Desk: Dacre Montgomery
It’s the fourth issue and well what can I say? Truth is stranger than fiction? Maybe. But one thing is for certain, we have Stranger Things bad boy Dacre Montgomery as our cover star. Some may say that watching Dacre’s performance as Billy Hargrove is like watching a star being born. As for what I can say, Dacre’s performance showcases a well disciplined actor that attests to the focus of our issue: craftsmanship. The art. The craft.
For this issue we were after doers who set the example on following the dream and doing something with it. Dacre Montgomery, along with the rest of our guys, help tell stories of success whether big or small. Successful people always make for great stories, but with the ugliness that is currently plaguing us, we made sure our stories were with decent human beings whose success has not turned them ugly (at least not yet.)
It was crucial that our features, our guys, our stories, were with genuinely nice people. A fashion magazine might not be all that effective in solving the problems of the world, but we do want to emulate goodness with the hopes that at least we are not adding to the problem. The rest of the guys are just a pack full of goodness, wrapped in a blanket of talent, adorned with a ribbon of honesty, and printed just for your enjoyment. Let our fourth issue be just a small light in this dark space that we are currently in. The light that will shine on some fashionable fall and winter trends because at the end of the day we are here for the F-A-S-H-I-O-N. I mean what would Men’s Fashion Post be without fashion? A travesty of a men’s magazine I suppose. Enjoy!
