Donut Kill My Vibe

Donut Kill My Vibe

I am so excited to share with you guys the great news that the Men's Fashion Post team has a new member. I have never shared with you guys the names of the people who help run Men's Fashion Post, but I find it necessary to announce the welcome of this new team member because he will be instrumental in the way my blog will transform and continue to evolve. His name is Adrian Martin and he is going to be the man behind the camera and not only that, he will also be a voice of creativity and inspiration for MFP. As Men's Fashion Post continues to grow, it has become very difficult to be able to juggle everything with the team I currently had. So to be a better business man, a better husband & dad, a better menswear influencer, and everything else that I do, I found it crucial to add someone to the team that will take on the many challenges that Men's Fashion Post demands for and continue to push it to the next level. With that being said, welcome Adrian to the MFP family!

Now that I got to welcome our new team member, I want to share the first style story that we worked on together. I got to collaborate with Acne Studios in creating outfits around two of their Emoji crewneck sweatshirts (this outfit is part 1 of 2). Because it is fall, I wanted to put together an outfit that would not only accentuated the Acne Studios piece, but it also had to work well with the season. The outfit consisted of the Casey dough black sweatshirt by Acne Studios, grey wool pants by H&M, white Common Projects sneakers, black Uri Minkoff tote bag, long grey coat by TopMan, shades by Dom Vetro, and a Bulbul watch. The neutrality of the pieces did not take away from the Acne Studios sweatshirt which worked as planned. The emoji being this large in the front of the sweatshirt was a desperate yell for attention. So I found it important to tone down the look. I hate attention and so it was a bit challenging to do so, but I think it ended up being toned down. That is why I decided that the donut was not going to kill my vibe. What do you think of the outfit and the Acne Studios piece? Be sure to leave your thoughts below and help me welcome our new team member as well by leaving a comment. Have a good one y'all!
