The Amado
The day before Christmas we spontaneously went to Palm Springs and escaped the holiday crazy rush in the city. Nothing beats great relaxation and one of a kind interior design. Palm Springs is one of my favorite getaway because it's only an hour and a half drive from LA and there are a lot of trendy spots to eat, hip coffee shops, great pool scene and get inspired by mid century modern architecture.
On this "staycation", we teamed up with The Amado. A trendy boutique hotel that was once an apartment building renovated and turned into a desert chic sanctuary by the photographer and founder, Jaime Kowal. Built in 1955 The Amado is a classic example of Palm Spring's beloved mid-century modern movement.
