Eric Rutherford
We continue our series 'a day with...' with model, fashion editor, and Instagram's favorite silver fox, Mr. Eric Rutherford. We had the pleasure of following Mr. Rutherford (@mrrutherford9) during New York Fashion Week: Men's. Read along as we give you a glimpse of what a day with Mr. Rutherford looks like.
It's an early start and first thing to check off his morning routine is making sure his hair is 'on point'. His effortless looks don't take too much time out of his day. He quickly puts on his first look for some morning coffee then off he goes to a casting for Etro in Garment District, Manhattan.
Eric returns to his apartment for a quick change and he then heads out to the Eidos presentations bumping into his good friend Mr. Nick Wooster. Eidos' creative director Mr. Antonio Ciongoli takes some time to talk with Eric about the collection and explains the great choices of fabrics and cuts.
Another quick change and Mr. Rutherford is back in the NYC streets catching a cab to head out to the Craft Atlantic Presentation.
Mr. Rutherford arrives at the Hickleys presentation and after a very brief stop due to the relentless schedule of meetings, shows, and presentations, we jump back into the car and head to the Macy's event at the top floor of the World Trade Center.
Part of Mr. Rutherfords day is dealing with the endless amounts of photo and selfies requests. Before moving on to the next thing on his schedule, Mr. Rutherford does a quick detour to the make-up department as he needed to prep to take over the Todd Snyder Instagram for it's AW16 show.
He participated in the last minute rehearsals for the show and via Todd Snyder Instagram, he allowed it's followers to see some behind-the-scenes action. We ended the day by capturing Mr. Rutherford front row at the Todd Snyder show. Like a true fashion week trooper, Mr. Rutherford was able to do all that he did with sophistication and style.
